British Royal Family News – The Comment Was Made In An Interview With GB News
There is that saying that one bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch, but Meghan Markle has recently found herself at the center of controversy, being labeled as a ‘spoiled apple.’
This assertion was made by Eric Trump regarding the Dutchess of Sussex during a candid interview recently with with GB News.
He expressed, “What I can tell you is my father held immense respect for the Queen, as did I”. After her death in 2022, Donald Trump praised her “historic and remarkable reign” on his Truth Social platform.
Eric further reminisced about his late mother, Ivana Trump, stating, “She had longstanding relationships with many in the royal circle, including a wonderful rapport with Diana and others.”
As the discussion progressed, he remarked, “This is a revered institution, and one could certainly welcome those two back.”
British Royal Family News – “You Can Have Them Back”
The younger Trump elaborated on the subject of Prince Harry and Meghan. “We would gladly return them to you from America; you can have them back here, though I’m uncertain if you truly desire their presence any more than we wish for it ourselves.”
He noted that “they seem to exist in a realm of their own.” He continued, “However, it’s important to recognize that every institution can have its share of misfits, just as every orchard may harbor a few spoiled apples. Yet, the royal family remains a magnificent institution, one that garners admiration from many Americans,” he concluded with a flourish.
British Royal Family News – Criticism Of The Royal Family Is Nothing New
Eric Trump’s recent remarks targeting Prince Harry and Meghan Markle mark yet another instance of the Trump family’s public disdain for the couple.
His father, Donald Trump, has not held back in expressing his animosity, particularly towards Markle, whom he has labeled as “disrespectful” to the royal family.
Back in March, Trump suggested that the couple, who have made California their home since 2020, might need to consider moving after Harry’s candid revelations about drug use in his memoir ‘Spare’.
The former President asserted that Harry should not enjoy “special privileges” and insisted that “appropriate action” should be taken if he misrepresented himself on his US visa application.
Earlier, during the CPAC event in February, Donald Trump stated he “wouldn’t protect” Harry, branding him an “embarrassment” and claiming he had “betrayed the queen.”
