There are new reports that say Netflix pulled the plug on their multi-million dollar contract with Prince Harry and Meghan for more than just one reason.
Even Meghan Markle’s Fans Are Having A Hard Time Defending Her
One of them happened to be the fact that the Sussexes made no moves to adapt Meet Me by The Lake in two years.
This, despite the fact that Netflix paid $3 million for the rights to make the movie. However, Meghan had made no effort in trying to find a director of even a cast for the film.
And because Netflix wants nothing to do with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex anymore, it looks like this project is never going to see the light of day.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some have even commented with, “Other commenters said that not all books where film rights were bought are actually produced, that it takes a long time to turn a book into a film and that Netflix might do a film specific deal with Harry and Meghan.”
What’s Next For Meghan Markle And Her Netflix Projects?
Another fan of the Sussexes wrote, “For me there are so many unfinished projects such as the film, the Africa project and Netflix involvement with As Ever that I believe even if the present deal will not be renewed with the present terms there will be some kind of deal.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I strongly believe that Netflix, Harry and Meghan will make an announcement when they are ready to put all this to bed.”
So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
