British royal family news divulges that yesterday Kate Middleton shocked the world by announcing that she is receiving cancer treatment, following an abdominal operation in January. The Princess of Wales is married to Prince William and together they have three children.

Kate is also one of three children, she grew up with her sister Pippa Middleton and her brother James Middleton.

Their parents are Michael and Carole Middleton who raised their children in the village of Bucklebury, England. Here’s everything to know about Kate Middleton’s siblings!

Royal Family News – Pippa And James Are Charitable

Both Pippa and James are involved with charitable organizations. Pippa is an ambassador for The British Heart Foundation.

When she was appointed in 2014 she said “I was shocked to learn that nearly three times more women die from coronary heart disease than breast cancer. I’m passionate about raising awareness amongst women of this killer disease and I look forward to working with the BHF to highlight to women the risks of heart disease and importantly, how they can reduce them.”

James is an ambassador with Pets as Therapy, a group that he said “does amazing work, bringing the joy and comfort of animals to those in need, whether it’s in hospitals, nursing homes, schools or other environments,” he said in his bio on the organization’s website. “I’m so grateful to be a part of such a meaningful organisation.”

James & Ella is the name of his dog food company and he recently donated dog food to displaced dogs in Ukraine. He helped open a center for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Dogs Trust Cardiff and donated a puppy to Guide Dogs.

Royal News – Pippa Middleton Leads a Private Life

Pippa married her husband, James Matthews, on May 20, 2017, and they are the parents of Arthur Michael William and daughters Grace Elizabeth Jane and Rose Louise Victoria.

In 2021 Pippa told fitness brand HOKA that “Family life and motherhood has consumed much of my spare time … Running and fitness still form part of my weekly routine but not to the level it was before. My running has been more after babies and toddlers than crossing finish lines, which I’m fine with — for now!”

James married Alizée Thevenet, a French financial analyst, on Sept. 11, 2021. Their ceremony was made extra special because Alizée wore Carole Middleton’s wedding dress!

The Bride told Hello! magazine: “While talking about dresses with Carole and sharing ideas during lockdown for inspiration, I tried on her wedding dress and fell in love with it,” she revealed. “It fitted me perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. It always troubled me that wedding dresses are only worn once, so it was amazing to give such a beautiful dress a second lease of life.”

When the couple’s son, Inigo, was born in October 2023, James posted this message on Instagram: “No matter how prepared I thought I was … I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion of meeting Inigo for the first time and the love for my darling Alizée as we became three.”

Pippa and James are frequent royal guests and together with their parents they witnessed the 2023 coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Before that the entire Middleton family were on hand to support Kate at the royal’s first-ever Christmas carol concert in 2021.
