British royal family news teases that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have covered their new website in red lipstick. Silly Markles, haven’t they heard you can put lipstick on a pig but it’s still a pig?
In case you missed it, this week they announced the debut of their brand new website: sussex.com. There were no trumpets but a load of pretense made up for the missing flourish.
The little site is under the snooty title of “The Office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke & Duchess of Sussex” accompanied by a coat of arms. Their Archewell brand, which purports to be about charity is within the site.
Here are five things you need to know about this over-the-top, grandiose undertaking.
Royal Family News – The Markles Made Up An Office for Themselves
The Markles like to think of themselves as being important enough to be contained within an “office” not a physical locale, a more stratospheric concept that includes a coat of arms, goal statements and their rather slim biographies. The look and feel of the site has been described as bare boned. Because designers cost money?
Royal Family News- Hear Meghan Roar
Meghan uses the site to tout herself as a woman who supports other women, a “feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity.”
Her skimpy bio goes on to say that “Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread in her humanitarian and business ventures.”
Royal Family News – The Sussexes Use Their Titles
The traitors don’t miss an opportunity to hint that they have some sort of tenuous connection to the royal family, while managing not to mention them at all. They do this by insisting on the use of the title Sussex.
Royal Family News – Let’s All Be Nice!
In case you cant check out the site, it opens to a dark blue page that the BBC notes is a “colour that brand marketeers like to associate with trust and quality, not to mention royalty.
Then a picture of the couple emerges, smiling and applauding. It’s a feel-good message of positivity and togetherness.” The blissed out pic appears to be one taken at the Invictus games in Dusseldorf in 2023.
Royal Family News – Royal Diss
As we mentioned before, H and M absolutely eliminate any mention of the royal family from their sleek new site.
“Prince Harry’s profile mentions his military career, his charities and his memoir Spare but nothing about being fifth in line to the throne. This is Harry without a tie or, for that matter, royal ties.”
What do they have left? Apparently they are hitching their stars to “Shaping the future through business and philanthropy.” What would that look like when performed by grifters? We’re about to find out. Maybe.
