Former Royal Insider Says Queen Camilla Won’t Be As Confident As King Charles At Coronation

Once upon a time, Camilla was never set to become the Queen even though she married the heir to the throne in 2005. The deal was apparently brokered to appease the raging masses at the time (many people took Princess Diana’s death way too personally).

Years have passed, and naturally, many people have moved on (the creeps haven’t). But you can’t deny that Camilla has worked hard for the years since she became a royal.

She’s passionately championed women’s causes for many years, and she loves to spread the joys of reading. I mean, if that isn’t Queen material, nothing is. The late Queen Elizabeth really did the right thing giving her blessing for Camilla to become Queen.

Royal Expert Says Queen Camilla Will Be “Terrified” At Coronation

On May 6, Their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla will be crowned at Westminster Abbey. It is set to be one of the biggest events in recent British history, and of course, there’ll be jitters in some, if not all, the parties involved.

A former royal butler, who worked in the employ of Charles and Camilla from 2004 to 2011, believes that Camilla will feel the pressure of the day way more than Charles ever will.

Speaking to Independent.ie, Harrold said: “[Charles] has done this for so long, the only thing that will worry him is that he is very particular and likes everything done and to go perfectly.“

He continued: “He’ll be more focused on making sure everybody knows what they’re doing. He’ll trust his team, including the household team, the office, secretaries, he’s going to trust that they’ll get it right so that he just has to worry about making sure he gets the crown on the right way.”

“She really loves the king, I’ve seen that, it’s wonderful. It’s a friendship, a partnership, a relationship, so she’s doing it to support him, that’s why she’s doing it. If you said to her tomorrow, would you rather go and do something else? She probably would do something completely different.”

Concluding, he said, “But because she’s in it and she signed up to do this, she’s going to go and do it, but I think she will be absolutely terrified… because she didn’t ask for this.”
