From Waffles To Awfuls? Meghan Markle’s St. Patrick’s Day Video Sparks OutrageBritish Royal family news and updates reveals Meghan Markle is receiving criticism after posting videos of her St. Patrick’s Day breakfast, with some questioning if the green waffles were made from scratch.

Observant viewers suggested that the waffle maker used by the Duchess of Sussex might not have created the waffles seen in the videos because of their designs.

Fans Outraged Over Wafflemaking Video

Meghan is facing new criticism after posting a homemade St. Patrick’s Day breakfast with her children.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared several videos on Instagram on Monday featuring her and Prince Harry’s kids, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, as they made green waffles from scratch.

She captioned a video of herself mixing the batter with, “About this morning…” and added, “We love a theme” next to a picture of matching green drinks.

However, some users on social media questioned whether the waffles were truly homemade, noting that the final product looked different from what should have come out of the equipment she used.

One person remarked, “Did you notice that what she placed in the maker doesn’t match how the waffle would actually look if she cooked them?”

The Barrage Of Social Media Attacks Continued, Some Calling Meghan A Liar

On X, formerly Twitter, one critic called her a liar-Meghan Markle’s constant tendency to fabricate stories is puzzling, even regarding something as minor as a waffle. She shared a video of herself using a waffle maker with a divider, but the “homemade” waffle she showcased appeared identical to a store-bought one.”

The user further questioned, ‘Why resort to such a pathetic, pointless lie? This ongoing need to distort reality and deceive—especially over something so trivial—is very troubling. She truly needs mental health counseling!”

The Wafflemaker Was A Gift From Queen Elizabeth To Prince Archie

People Magazine reports that the waffle maker seen in Meghan’s St. Patrick’s Day video might have a special link to the late Queen Elizabeth.

Harry mentioned that his grandmother gave their son, Prince Archie, a waffle maker before she passed away in 2022. During a 2021 appearance on “The Late Late Show” with James Corden, Harry recounted the story of this unique gift.

“My grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas, and Meg said a waffle maker,” he remembered; “She sent us a waffle maker for Archie.

Now, for breakfast, Meg prepares a lovely organic mix in the waffle maker;” Harry also shared a charming detail about Archie, saying, “Archie wakes up in the morning and says, ‘waffle.'”

Meghan’s Culinary Series Renewed At Netflix

The criticism directed at Meghan regarding her waffles follows the launch of her new Netflix cooking series, “With Love, Meghan,” which has received significant backlash.

Critics were quick to dismiss the show, with The Guardian describing it as a “gormless lifestyle filler” and suggesting it could be the Sussexes’ last television endeavor. The Telegraph referred to it as “insane” and an “exercise in narcissism.”

Kristin Myers from The Blast also provided a pointed critique, calling the Duchess of Sussex “hilariously out of touch,” particularly for encouraging viewers to contact local beekeepers to make their own candles.

Despite the negative feedback, Meghan achieved a notable success as Netflix  promptly renewed the series for a second season, plus  she’s set to debut a new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.

Justine Bateman Called The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex Out With Criticism

Justine Bateman, known for her role in “Family Ties,” voiced her discontent regarding what she calls Meghan and Harry’s “Victim Olympics campaign.”

In her blog post titled “The Problem With Meghan Markle: It’s Not What She’s Doing, It’s the Victim Olympics Road She Took to Get There,” Bateman made some criticisms. She claimed readers  are not interested in watching someone pretend to achieve something they haven’t truly earned.

She pointed out that the issue with Meghan Markle and Harry is that their recent opportunities have stemmed from their aggressive approach to the Victim Olympics narrative.

Bateman emphasized, “The difference between doing this two years ago and now is significant-it’s 2025, and people are tired of seeing victims.”
