Great British Bake Off Queen Prue Leith Disses ‘With Love, Meghan’

Great British Bake Off Queen Prue Leith Disses 'With Love, Meghan'British royal family news reveals that in the UK, Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith rules supreme as the ultimate authority on all things cooking. Did she love Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series With Love, Meghan? What do you think?

Prue Leith from The Great British Bake Off series gave her opinion on the Duchess of UnSussexful’s Netflix show and let’s just say it wasn’t a giant thumbs up. Here’s what to know!

With Love, Meghan is Reviewed as a Universal Failure

When Good Morning Britain asked Prue’s take on Meghan Markle’s Netflix show she said she didn’t bother to watch it: “I’ve only read about it but I honestly wouldn’t watch it.”

She added that she is “not a Meghan Markle fan.”

According to Prue she is not in category of people who are “touchy-feely … I just think there’s more to life than how you look and how your friends think of you. I’ve probably alienated half my fans.”
Maybe not Prue, have you seen the reviews?

Prue Leith Doesn’t Adore Meghan Markle

Still, E!Online noted that the host’s comments had one fan calling her an icon for telling it how it is, but another slammed her for disliking Meghan “a completely made-up reason.”

One X user defended the 85-year-old legend by pointing to her inarguable kitchen cred, writing “I’d like to remind everyone that Prue Leith is a professional chef, cookery book writer etc. Of course, she’s not going to waste time watching a non-professional- it would just irk her.”

Which brings us to the million-dollar question, why did Netflix give Meghan a cooking show? She has no professional experience and her ideas have been widely ridiculed as plagiarized and worse.

With Love, Meghan is a Flop

In case you missed it, this is what Meghan’s show is all about, straight from the horse’s mouth: “Just being home and connecting with friends, making new friends, I’m just so grateful for that. But also reconnecting with myself and just learning, right? I’ve always been curious. Sharing all those discoveries and everything I love with the people that I love, it just brings me so much joy.”

The show coincides with the announcement of her latest lifestyle brand, As Ever. About that, she said she’s opening up a new chapter in her life. Tell us royal fans, did you watch the Netflix flop With Love, Meghan, or are you with Prue on this one?
