This could be a godsend for the cash strapped Duke and Duchess of Sussex. As most know, Prince Harry and Meghan both signed with the New York-based Harry Walker Agency, which is a world-renowned public speaking firm.

Many thought that signing with the Harry Walker Agency would be the first of many new income streams for Meghan Markle and Harry in their quest to become financially independent from Buckingham Palace. However, it’s been reported that during the Covid-19 pandemic, there’s been no market for after-dinner speeches. Thus, Prince Harry and Meghan haven’t made a dime off that endeavor just yet.

With that said, a potential deal with Spotify could net Meghan Markle and Prince Harry a pretty sum considering the fact that some believe they’ll be offered a similar deal to the one made between Spotify and Michelle Obama. Indeed, information from insiders suggests that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may be offered an exclusive deal to produce content for an entire series. British tabloids have also reported that the deal may be worth up to 7-figures for the financially struggling Prince Harry and his American wife.

For those who have been watching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the idea that the duke and duchess could sign a 7-figure deal to essentially talk about themselves in a series of podcasts isn’t that remarkable. Indeed, there was a petition launched in the USA not long ago urging Prince Harry and Meghan to stop pushing themselves onto mainstream American media. That petition didn’t seem to gain much traction, and even if it had Prince Harry and Meghan likely wouldn’t have paid it much heed.

Now, here the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are, set to do one of the things they apparently do best. Namely, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle talk about themselves better than anyone. Some might argue that tabloids in North America or in the UK don’t hold a candle to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s ability to blaze their deeds across multiple media platforms and harness the attention of millions.

“Price Is No Object” For Prince Harry And Meghan’s Participation

According to an insider who spoke to a British tabloid on the matter, “Of course, money is no object. Meghan Markle will be more or less able to name her price for exclusively working with them on a podcast series. The Duke and Duchess have been on their hit list for a while and a detailed proposal is set to be presented to Meghan’s US agent in a matter of weeks.”

Since there isn’t much for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to do during the Coronavirus lockdowns in California and elsewhere, some believe that working remotely on a podcast series could suit the couple well. However, there is still the question as to how Meghan and Harry will be paid. Some feel it’s possible that any deal could be made strictly with Meghan Markle in order to avoid any complications with U.S. laws concerning Prince Harry, who is not a U.S. citizen working inside the United States.

      oNo wonder their faces show red they are such liars and takers down to supposed friends (let’s see who their friends are if they were Harry and the actress) Two of the bigger stories moochers ever born right down to daddy giving them everything they ask for.       Fail. Like everything else they touch. If they were at all marketable it would have happened already. Either the people in charge see a couple of huge L's on their foreheads, or they have ruined any plans to market them.
