No Negative Comments About the Royal Family

During the entire negotiation process, Harry and Meghan have not publicly spoken negatively about the Royal Family. In return, there have been no slams to the press about the royal couple either. Any negativity seems to come from royal “experts” or “inside palace sources.” However, without them releasing their names, nothing can be confirmed or denied.

Any harsh feelings have been kept between family members and hidden from the public. Which is exactly how it should be.

Testing the Waters

According to Inc., a professional mediator emailed them with a list of pros and cons of how Harry and Meghan have dealt with the situation. While they should have waited before revealing their plans and made it a joint announcement with the Royal Family, nothing can change it now.

However, the source said that she is “thrilled” there is a one-year period of testing the waters. This is largely uncharted territory and there are so many unanswered questions. If things don’t go according to plan, then they have a way out of Canada — and back in with the Royal Family.

In-Person Discussion

Even though things are tense, Harry did a great job attending the Royal Summit to talk about the issues in person. While Meghan did not attend, she promised to participate via speakerphone. However, earlier this month it was announced that she didn’t even do that. Points for Harry, a big no-no for Meghan.

One thing I am personally disappointed by is Meghan leaving Harry to explain the “Megxit” decision in London by himself. It was reported that it was supposed to be a joint attendance, but Meghan bowed out at the last minute. During this huge ordeal, the couple should always be united.
