According to Page Six, Meghan Markle feels sorry for the fact that Kate Middleton is forced to look picture perfect for the cameras instead of enjoying her first few precious moments with her children. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have opted not to pose for photographs after the birth of their child as they would rather celebrate their new family in private. However, the couple is expected to share their birth announcement on social media whenever they feel ready to.
And while a lot of people have loved seeing Prince William and Kate Middleton introduce their newborns to the world on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London, it was a trend that was first started by Princess Anne many decades ago.
“All royal ranks are at the Queen’s discretion and Princess Anne set an interesting precedent by choosing to raise her children without any royal titles at all,” said Patrick Jephson, the former chief aide to Harry’s mother, Princess Diana. “[But] my guess is that Harry and Meghan’s child will already be a prince or princess by the time we see the first photo.”
Although not confirmed, reports indicate that Meghan Markle is planning a home birth at Frogmore Cottage, on Windsor Castle grounds. The former Hollywood actress hasn’t revealed if she is having a boy or a girl, however, it’s been noted that the young tot will have dual British and American citizenship. As a matter of fact, he or she will be the first royal baby to meet the criteria for U.S. citizenship, which will definitely make Meghan and her family back at home very proud!
