Princess Charlene Happy To Be Reunited With Family

How is the former Olympic swimmer doing now that she is home? News 24 interviewed Chantell Wittstock, Princess Charlene’s sister-in-law, who happily updated royal watchers. “The princess is extremely happy to be back home with her family.”

Princess Charlene has had quite a reunion. Back in May, she flew to South Africa, for what she thought would be just a few days working with her charities. Unbeknownst to her, she had an infection that severely worsened when she was there.

After consulting with an ears-nose-throat professional, she was unable to fly. Moreover, she needed surgery. To get better, the Princess needed several procedures. Because of the risk to her health, she was unable to fly. However, Chantell shared that “all the procedures “were a success.”

Instead, her family went down to visit her in August. The reunion was shared on her Instagram, clearly giving her a great deal of joy.

Rumors Of Problems In Grimaldis’ Marriage

Although The Grimaldis are reunited, there is still a lot of skepticism that their relationship is solid. Before 2020 ended, a Brazilian woman claimed that the Prince was the father of her child. Unlike his other two children born out of wedlock, this child would have been conceived when Prince Albert was dating Princess Charlene.

Many have speculated that her lengthy absence from Monaco has to do with this shocking news. This has led to a lot of speculation that the couple is on the outs.

There are also unconfirmed rumors that Charlene is living away from the Palace, in a small apartment over a chocolate shop.

Princess Charlene May Not Attend Public Functions For A While

One question many people have is whether Princess Charlene will attend any public functions in the near future. Chantall hinted that maybe it will take a while. “‘That doesn’t just happen overnight. She’s definitely going to be taking it easy. And yeah, her main focus right now will be spending time with her children and her family.”

Most publications have noted that the princess does look “frail.” However, after such a long, and uncertain health situation, and so much time away from her family, it may not surprise anyone that she is still in recovery mode.

Whether she will attend the Monaco National Day festivities is a big question. That is on Friday, November 19. Then, royal watchers may have something to cheer, or to be concerned over.
