When Meghan Markle made her way onto the scene, it was assumed that she and her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton would become the best of friends. After all, they both have one very important thing in common: they fell in love and married two royal princes who happen to be brothers. Online, there’s a very good chance that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle rarely get to see one another anymore, seeing how Kate lives at Kensington Palace full-time and Meghan and Prince Harry are at Frogmore Cottage, near Windsor Castle. What’s more, all of the supposed icy tension between Prince William and Prince Harry are making it very hard for the ‘fab four’ to get along.
If that weren’t enough, reports indicate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking to do their own thing within the royal family, meaning, they are not wanting to play by anyone’s rules anymore. Seeing how Kate Middleton is married to the future King of England, that’s not something that she can do or even back up for that matter. This has led to reports suggesting that Harry and Meghan are not getting anyone’ support behind closed palace doors. What’s more, it’s been noted that Harry and Meghan’s most recent emotional interview has’t gone down well with the rest of the royals.

“There also seems to be a lot of bemusement within the royal family about what exactly Harry and Meghan are trying to achieve, as members of the royal family do not usually speak in such detail about personal matters,” one insider said, according to E! Online. “It’s fair to say that there is a deep sense of unease in the royal households about the direction this is all headed.”
And while Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have made an effort to appear friendly to one another while in public, it’s unlikely that they are texting each other after hours or looking to share Christmas cookie recipes with one another.
