Inside Meghan Markle’s Secret Birthday Trip With Prince Harry And Baby Archie

Meghan Markle may have kept her 38th birthday simple and low-key, but the Duchess of Sussex reportedly planned a lavish getaway with her family a few days after. According to multiple Spanish media outlets, Meghan and Prince Harry were spotted jetting off to Ibiza with their newborn in tow.

Hello! reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s family of three flew on a private jet to a secluded resort in Ibiza, Spain on Aug. 6, just two days after the Duchess’ birthday.

According to royal insiders, they were given the full royal treatment and stayed in a private luxurious villa for six whole days. They were reportedly surrounded by local escorts and their security team.

Unfortunately for royal fans, Meghan and Prince Harry’s security must have been so tight that there are no paparazzi shots of their family during their vacation. Still, we could imagine that their days were spent lounging by the beach and playing with baby Archie!

This isn’t the first time Meghan has visited Ibiza. Back in 2016, the former Hollywood actress vacationed on the Spanish island with her close friends. But for her three-month-old son, their recent private family trip is also his first time to go out of the country.

Baby Archie is set to make his official royal trip later this year, as he’s scheduled to accompany Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to South Africa for their royal duties.

Royal insiders reported that Meghan and her family returned home last Monday, Aug. 12. The new mom, who had just given birth last May, spent the summer on maternity leave but is still busy as ever.
