Inside Prince Harry and David Foster’s New Bond: 5 Reasons Why Queen Elizabeth Might Be Upset

Prince Harry’s father might be the next King of England, but apparently, he’s got a new father-figure in Hollywood, much to the surprise of royal fans, and of course, his grandmother Queen Elizabeth back at home. While David Foster might be the king of the music world, he’s certainly no Prince Charles, right?

Here are five reasons why Queen Elizabeth might be none too pleased over this new Hollywood father and son pairing with her grandson.

Harry’s Bond With David Foster

Much to the surprise of royal fans everywhere, Prince Harry apparently has a new father figure in his life and that person happens to be Hollywood music exec, David Foster. The two have grown so close that David is apparently giving Harry parental tips now, which is probably something Queen Elizabeth is none too pleased over.

Speaking to Access Hollywood in a new interview, David Foster’s wife Katharine McPhee offered this to Access Hollywood, “My husband has a really, really beautiful relationship with Harry. They are like, they are so cute. They’re like father and son.”

New Hollywood Connections

If there is one thing that Queen Elizabeth has never liked, it’s seeing the royal family connected with the Hollywood world. Yet, it’s now inevitable that Prince Harry would be involved with all things Hollywood, seeing how his wife Meghan Markle used to be a television actress. It’s Meghan’s connections that have helped him and Harry move on past Megxit, too.

David Foster reportedly hooked up the Sussexes with their temporary home in Vancouver Island. “David’s the resource guy. He loves to help people,” Katharine McPhee added in her interview. “Meghan and I knew each other from childhood, but really Harry and my husband are friends. It’s really nice. [We] just want them to end up wherever they feel safest and happiest.”

Duty And Responsibility To The Crown

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now mingling with the A-crowd in Los Angeles, Queen Elizabeth certainly won’t allow him to forget his duty and responsibility to the crown. In fact, Prince Harry himself knows that family is everything and while he might be trying to build a new family life for himself, no one will ever understand him or everything that he’s ever been through like his royal family back at home.

If there’s one thing that has helped strengthen that sense of family and duty, it’s the fact that Harry is now a father himself. According to People Magazine, Harry once put it this way, “As someone who is about to become a father, I am acutely aware of our shared responsibility to make this world more resilient and its inhabitants more accountable for the next generation.”

Meghan Markle’s Possible Influence

While there were previous reports suggesting that it was Meghan Markle who had actually convinced Prince Harry to give his father Prince Charles a chance and to, of course, work on their father and son bond, it could also possibly have been Meghan’s influence that had the couple uproot their lives from London to her hometown of Los Angeles.

While no one knows what really went on behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace, one thing is for sure: Queen Elizabeth is missing out on not only having Prince Harry in the family but seeing her great-grandson Archie Harrison grow up.

Harry Will Always Have Royal Blood

Simply put, no one and nothing will ever replace Prince Charles as Prince Harry’s father, no matter where he and Meghan end up or who will be included in their tight circle of close friends. You can’t change the fact that Harry will always have royal blood and that he will always love and support his family regardless of what zip code he lives in.

What’s more, he and Queen Elizabeth also used to have a very tight bond. Who can forget that adorable video clip of him and the Queen dropping ‘da bomb’ on Barack and Michelle Obama to help promote Harry’s Invictus Games? Home is where the heart is and for Prince Harry, his heart has never left London.
