British royal family news divulges that at least one person in the galaxy sees a use for Meghan Markle’s Netflix cookery show, With Love, Meghan.
That would be Irish priest Father Brendan Kilcoyne from Balla, Co Mayo, who has previously and memorably spoken about Grifter and her second husband, Prince Harry. Here’s what to know about the priest’s hilarious takes on the Duke and Duchess of UnSussexful.
Irish Priest Appreciates Meghan Markle
The parish priest tickled a few funny bones when he made the suggestion that Catholics use the Meghan Markle documentary on Netflix for a higher purpose “as a form of Lenten penance.”
He’s not wrong –there are not enough rotten tomatoes in the world to throw at Meghan and Netflix’s expensive, reputation-ruining exercise in pompous vanity.
Late night comics like Jimmy Fallon have trashed the series, social media torched the show, and the good Father ripped the streaming offering as “bloody awful.”
Meghan Called Bloody Awful
Fr Brendan Kilcoyne was especially appalled at the segment in which Meghan pretends to be a beekeeper. In it she tries to converse with a real beekeeper and their convo so offended the priest that he described the bees as “mortified” by the humans’ “riveting” exchange.
This isn’t the first time that the forthright frocked one gave an opinion on Discount Duchess. In the past he declared that the British royal family had a “narrow escape” when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry launched Megxit.
He added that the clan “did not deserve to be connected to somebody who is clearly operating at such a shallow level.” Not sure which of the nitwits he was referring to …
Meghan Markle Is Slammed Online
If the good Father ever decides to moonlight, late night needs more like him. Of the monarchy’s close brush with the disgraced B-lister he said: “The great line that has given us so many English kings and queens – from an Irish Catholic point of view, perhaps of varying attractiveness – it does not deserve this. It had a narrow escape.”
According to the Irish Mirror he added: “Meghan Markle is Nemesis. She is the anti-monarchy. Thank God they’re out there in Montecito, herself and her poor, deluded noggins of a husband.”
But wait, there’s more!
The refreshingly frank Fr Kilcoyne noted: “Say what you like about the husband and others – he is a former and distinguished soldier, as are his uncles, as was his father. They do not deserve to be connected like this to somebody who is clearly operating at such a shallow level.”
On his podcast, The Brendan Option, Fr Kilcoyne doubled down on his initial suggestion that his listeners give up good taste for Lent and watch Meghan and her Netflix train wreak in order to “drink in the mediocrity and savor the narrow escape that one of the most distinguished Royal lines in the world has just had.”
