According to the Daily Mail, there’s a new report that suggests Kate had dinner with Rose and some of her friends and then decided to go to a music festival – without Prince William.
This is quite interesting seeing how the Princess of Wales had spent the last several years pretending like Rose Hanbury doesn’t exist.
That’s because there were several reports indicating that Prince William has having a secret affair with his wife’s best friend. Talk about shady, right?

Well, Royal Family News says that something must have happened between now and then because Kate and Rose are back to being friends again.
One source close to the situation even said about their dinner and music festival date, “After dinner, one of the guests suggested that Catherine go to the festival.

Catherine was nervous about the idea, but, after much discussion with her protection officers, she went with lots of security. William wasn’t there.”

While it’s interesting that Kate and Rose are friends again, what makes things even more interesting is the fact that Prince William skipped out on the festivities altogether. Is the Princess of Wales trying to send a message here? Is she trolling her husband?
By being friends with the mistress again, is Kate trying to have the upper hand in her marriage? There are so many questions that royal fans have that only Kate herself could answer.
Some royal critics even commented on the matter with, “Befriend the mistress, and the cheating husband feels like you’re invading his territory and will soon stop the affair,” along with, “Befriend the mistress, and the cheating husband feels like you’re invading his territory and will soon stop the affair.”
