While there’s no doubt that King Charles is dealing with one controversy after another, it seems like it’s all taking a toll on his well-being. In fact, there’s a new report that suggests the King of England is feeling very fragile these days as he might be fighting a secret mental illness.

According to the latest edition of The National Enquirer, King Charles seems to be locked in a secret battle with a mental illness that is threatening to derail his upcoming coronation.

This, despite the fact that he’s waited over seven decades to ascend the British throne. As many royal fans already know, his mother Queen Elizabeth passed away back in September of last year.

And while King Charles should have every reason to look forward to his ceremony, it seems like he’s being eaten alive by fear and anxiety, which is also keeping him up late at night. It also seems as though he’s worried that he won’t be able to live up to the same standard as Queen Elizabeth. Some people even pointed out that last September Charles showed signs of anxiety when he kept on wringing and clasping his hands during his mother’s funeral. The tension was certainly visible then as it is now.

Will King Charles Make It To His Own Coronation?

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Charles’ emotional stability is hanging by a threat. He’s terrified he won’t be able to cope with a crisis that could rip his fledgling monarchy to shreds about following in the footsteps of his majestic mother.”

The insider added, “We are worried he will have a meltdown and won’t even be able to attend his coronation.”

If that weren’t enough, it seems like his wife Camilla Parker Bowles also has every reason to be worried about her husband’s mental state. The tipster said, “Camilla has spent her entire life dreaming of becoming queen. She won’t let anything or anyone stand in her way.”
