Royal Family News says that the Duchess of Sussex is now getting slammed for apparently playing a game of “cat and mouse” with her two children, Archie and Lilibet, and the rest of the royal family. Here’s what you need to know.

As many royal fans know by now, Prince Harry has announced that he will be traveling to London for King Charles’ coronation. However, Meghan Markle will be staying behind with the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet, in California.

Some critics believe that the Sussexes might be doing King Charles and the rest of the royal family a disservice by keeping their children behind and not giving anyone an opportunity to see them. In fact, some are even accusing Meghan of playing a cat and mouse game with the royals and her kids.

Royal Correspondent Simon Vigar said that Meghan has been acting this way ever since her son Archie was born. He recalled, “What was really strange was that we — the press, the world — were lied to about when their baby was born.

We didn’t know where it was born. We were told Meghan had gone into labor and then there was a baby. And to have this game of cat and mouse with the media, and I believe, their own officials, about where the baby was being born was odd.”

What’s Next For The Sussexes?

Now, whether or not Meghan truly is playing a game with the media remains to be seen but for now it looks like Archie and Lilibet will be spending the weekend of the coronation at home and away from their father, Prince Harry.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes released a statement that said, “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation service at Westminster Abbey on May 6. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
