Is Meghan Markle publishing Her UK Diary?

The world is waiting with bated breath for the tell-all bio from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan, and the Making of a Modern Royal Family which is due in August. But is there an even more intimate, insider look at Meghan’s life waiting in the wings to be published?

The pompously titled tome Finding Freedom promises an inside look with “unknown details” that goes “beyond the headlines” of Prince Harry and Meghan’s storybook.

But if the rumor is true, Meghan herself has penned a bombshell book that could rock the royal world as never before. Will it see the light of day?

Sebastian Shakespeare in the Daily Mail claims that one of Meghan’s friends has stated that she kept a diary during her time in the UK.

If true, one can only marvel at the revelatory detail such a book would possess. Did she query it, like she infamously asked a journalist, why no one ever asks how she is doing?

According to Sebastian, Meghan’s friend said, “She is a good writer, with a nice turn of phrase. Remember she studied English in her first year at Northwestern College.” Well then, make room on the Pulitzer list!

According to the source, the book would give Meghan, “total control.”

Will Meghan next publish her own personal diary?

Before her marriage, she wrote a lifestyle blog, The Tig, which some have speculated she will once again publish when the time is right.

In fact, Sebastian claims that she anonymously wrote another blog, The Working Actress, in which she noted, “My hair is primped, my face is painted, my name is recognized, my star meter is rising, my life is changing.”

When asked about Meghan’s literary pretensions, I mean intentions, a spokesman for the Duke and Duchess reportedly declined to comment. Perhaps the writer shouldn’t have bothered after all Daily Mail is one of the four UK publications that the couple has banned from their lives.

Nonetheless, Sebastian notes that the news outlet has continued to give the tight-lipped pair a chance to comment on stories published about them.

If Meghan were to transcribe her diary into a work to rival the Odyssey she would do so in ultimate comfort as she and Harry are living in Tyler Perry’s mega-mansion in L.A. Perhaps the sale of her diary would help the pair collect enough money to buy their own home? Just a thought.
