Is Meghan Markle’s Netflix Show A Rip-Off Of Pamela Anderson’s? The Iconic Actress Reacts

Is Meghan Markle's Netflix Show A Rip-Off Of Pamela Anderson's? The Iconic Actress ReactsWhen Meghan Markle’s ‘With Love, Meghan’ premiered on Netflix in March, royal experts and critics were quick to pick out all the ways the show was below par.

One of the recurring complaints was that it was unoriginal and there weren’t many brilliant ideas that might interest viewers enough to stick with it.

Rest assured we got flower sprinkles, improved family recipes and some interesting tips on how to host guests, the fan reaction was by no means as enthusiastic as Meghan and the Netflix team might have hoped.

However, one of the shows constantly pitted against Meghan’s is Pamela Anderson’s ‘Pamela’s Cooking With Love.’ We may see the similarities, but the star honestly doesn’t think there’s competition there.

Pamela Anderson Reveals She Hasn’t Watched Meghan Markle’s Netflix Show

Pamela Anderson may be best known for her roles in movies like ‘Baywatch,’ but she’s got a pretty cool lifestyle program where she shows off her cooking and shopping skills. The selling point is that she partners with world-class chefs to bring us the best and healthiest plant-based meals from her Vancouver Island home.

Entering the chat with her own cooking and entertaining show is former American actress, Meghan Markle. ‘With Love, Meghan’ saw the Duchess cook, clean, entertain guests and even plan recipes for small gatherings.

For some reason, fans have made it a thing to compare ‘With Love, Meghan’ with Anderson’s. The good news is that the actress disagrees.

During a segment of Plead the Fifth on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the host asked, “On a scale from 1 to 10, how much did you think a rip-off did you feel like With Love, Meghan was of your show, Pamela’s Cooking With Love?”

A visibly stunned Anderson replied, “One… I didn’t.”

She then added: “I didn’t really look, but I didn’t invent cooking shows or home shows. So, I mean… she’s just doing her thing.”

The co-creator and producer of Pamela’s show, Jesse Fawett, also responded to the copying claims.

He told Daily Mail, “We take pride in planting the first seeds – creating original, distinctive programming that audiences love – and it’s a compliment to see our work with Ms. Anderson resonate so strongly.”
