There’s some speculation suggesting that one of the reasons why Prince William didn’t attend any of the World Cup games in America this summer was because he was afraid of running into President Donald Trump.

Per AOL, the Prince of Wales was apparently worried that Donald Trump would make a beeline for him at the games and the last thing that he wants right now is a photo op with the controversial President of the United States.

But whether or not this is true, no one really knows because it’s not like Trump even attended any of the matches to even begin with.

Plus, Prince William could have attended the games without anyone knowing, too. He just opted not to. Clearly, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.
