According to Page Six, Prince William and Prince Harry are not only having a hard time getting along but apparently, William wants his brother and his wife to keep their distance from him and his family. As a matter of fact, there’s speculation that William wants the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to move overseas so he and Kate Middleton can remain in the spotlight.
Kensington Palace has even considered sending Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, to somewhere like Canada, Australia, or even Africa for a couple of years.
One palace source told The Sunday Times of London in an interview, “There have been various ideas floated for them to take on a job abroad, such as governor-general of Australia or Canada, wherever. The trouble is that you effectively set them up as king and queen of a whole separate country, and 24-hour media means that Australia is not as far away as it used to be.”
And while Canada and Australia seem to now be out of the question, Harry and Meghan might consider moving to Africa, as it is a continent that they are both deeply in love with. With that being said, they aren’t willing to move in such current circumstances, though. “Laying low” is just something that Meghan and Harry aren’t willing to do, as they get a tremendous amount of attention everywhere they go.
“Meghan and Harry feel they have been cut adrift,” a source close to the couple said. They sent them down to Frogmore to try to keep them out of the limelight for a bit. This is doomed to fail. They are worried that Harry and Meghan are going to establish a totally separate enterprise that nobody can get under control.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the report.
