Harry & Meghan Was Always Going To Be Divisive

The son of King Charles and his wife open their mouths, and out comes some controversy. Actually, it’s been that way ever since they left the UK, turning down Queen Elizabeth’s offer to be working royals in South Africa.

Initially, they were touted as the best thing that ever happened to the royal family. However, they soon managed to sway opinions when they did the now-infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey. In  the Netflix show, Prince Harry claims that no royal women are safe and that the palace plays a “dirty game.”

When the trailer dropped for Harry & Meghan, a lot of folks felt that the couple just injected the royal family with pure poison. Actually, a lot of people wondered about the timing which might not make it a happy little Christmas for King Charles.

Nevertheless, a lot of people, mainly Americans, love them and for a while, #GoodKingHarry trended on Twitter. So, it’s interesting to look at the ratings after the first episodes dropped.

On FlixPatrol, the rating for the show on December 9 revealed that “Wednesday,” based on the “The Addams Family” character took the top votes. Meanwhile, the royals that folks love to hate came in at second place. So, it’s not stellar with 717. However, other options are available on the site, and if you take a look at the ratings by country, for certain, the movie “Troll,” seems much more popular.

These days, it’s not easy to find out how highly folks rate Harry & Meghan or any other Netflix show. A Good Movie To Watch noted that Netflix changed the way the ratings are done. Now basically based on likes, it obviously favors those movies with a higher number of stars. While that might not apply to the royal docuseries, people who prefer that sort of show will more than likely up-tick it.

Social Media Commenters Discuss The Show

Harry & Meghan seems to get more negative comments than positive ones on Twitter. Nevertheless, lots of fans do say good things about it. These days, Twitterati are allowed to dissent. Meanwhile, on Reddit, people seem to think that the docuseries seems a bit at odds with the message.

so fed up with the whining of these two. We all have problems in our lives but you dont spread your dirty laundry to the public. Very low class and trashy. She married into the family knowing full well what it was about .. Other girlfriends of Harry declined and she knew about Diana so what did she expect. She wanted to be talked avbout ..Harry will one day regret this
