It Was Horrible For Meghan Markle In The U.K. And Now Moving Back to U.S. is Just as Bad

Why is it that everything surrounding Meghan Markle just screams “drama?” Is it the tabloid headlines, which constantly talk about “heartbreak” and “heartbreak” that and all the emotional trauma Meghan either causes or suffers? Is it possible that all the theatrics surrounding she and her husband Prince Harry aren’t actually theatrics at all but are real depictions of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s lives? If so, how horrible for Prince Archie and for anyone else who must suffer the presence of either individual.
In a new discussion with Emily Ramshaw, American journalist, and news executive, Meghan Markle talked about how “devastated” she was upon her return to America. Meghan went on to clarify that her devastation had to do with social injustice and the thing that brought that home to her was the murder of George Floyd, which set off mass protests nationwide.
As Meghan told Emily, “I haven’t lived in the States for almost 10 years. I lived in Canada for seven for work so it’s a really long lapse in time from being here. And to come back and to just see the state of affairs I think at the onset of, if I’m being honest, was just devastating. It was so sad to see where our country was in that moment and if there is any silver lining in that I would say that in the weeks that were happening after the murder of George Floyd.”
Yet Everything Has Been Horrible For Meghan For Years
While ostensibly Meghan Markle found the social justice situation in America disastrous, many may recall that Meghan was just as “hurt” and emotionally distraught in the U.K. Indeed, the ultra-privileged Ms. Markle ranted about how she “gave up her life” for the British Royal Family.
Of course, there wasn’t a peep from Meghan about how much she’d been given or how much her personal status and fame had risen, by “giving up her life” for the British Royal Family. Likewise, there has never been an acknowledgment by Meghan Markle that no one put a gun to her head and forced her to marry into The House of Windsor.
No, instead the unwashed masses (those who couldn’t be fortunate enough to marry into wealth and privilege) were forced to suffer Meghan Markle’s insufferable, ungrateful words. “I gave up my entire life for this family. I was willing to do whatever it takes. But here we are. It’s very sad.”
Things were bad for Meghan back in the U.K. and things were then bad in the U.S.A.
And so, the world’s tiniest violin continues to wail for Meghan Markle.
A Light In The Corner For Meghan
Of course, Meghan has wiped away her tears and has blown her nose. Today, Meghan Markle is the proud owner of multi-million pounds and multi-million dollar estates on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Without having to earn the money for these properties, and having done nothing to merit them, Meghan is set for life.
How can the Duchess of Sussex possibly remain full of angst and emotional upheaval?
Well, no one should ask that question because Meghan might feel a bit of inspiration since she is now free of the Monarchy’s fetters and can go speak her mind and vote in American elections to her heart’s content. Yet, Meghan does so because the world and America are terrible, dark, and cold places where change is desperately needed.

It’s a good thing Meghan isn’t paying attention to the opinions of the vast majority of Americans, just as she hasn’t paid attention to the views of U.K. and Commonwealth citizens. Otherwise, Meghan might learn that no one actually cares what she either feels or thinks about the issues that matter.
