Ashley is the daughter of Joe Biden and when a watchdog caught wind of Ashley’s boo-boo, they contacted the IRS about her project, the Women’s Wellness Spa(ce). Ashley, the only child of Joe and Jill Biden, is described as a former social worker who opened the Women’s Wellness Spa(ce) in 2023.

This isn’t the kind of news the troubled Biden family needs right now, but here we are. Here’s what to know about the latest Biden blunder.

Ashley Biden is Joe Biden’s Daughter

For some reason Ashley failed to reveal that Archewell, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s nonprofit gifted her the windfall in 2023, when her dad was still in power.

Ashley’s outfit is based in Philadelphia and describes itself as a “trauma-informed wellness center.” According to the National Legal and Policy Center, Ashley’s unexplained omission was in “clear violation” of IRS rules. But wait, there’s more!

Ashley Biden Runs Afoul of IRS Rules

The center’s lawyer, Paul Kamenar, has no idea how “Ashley could claim a salary of just $12.75 per hour and said that her workload could be ‘exaggerated.’”

As a result of Ashley’s actions, “He demanded that Ashley be deposed and the IRS determine ‘what civil and criminal penalties’ should be appropriate” according to the Daily Mail.

Ashley’s business offers guided meditation and including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) of which Prince Harry is a devotee.

Even though Ashley didn’t let the IRS know about the Markles’ cash gift, they sure did—which is how Ashley was found out. The 2023 Archewell tax filings show that their present to Ashley was the largest one they made.

What Does Ashley Biden’s Center Do?

Kamenar added that the huge donation is sus “because of the political implications of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attempts to ingratiate themselves with President Biden and his family.”

The complaint Kamenar made to the IRS lists more “inconsistencies in the Women’s Wellness Spa(ce) filing, including claiming there were eight members of the board but only listing seven.”

On top of that, “The 990 forms state that Ashley worked 40 hours a week but only earned $11,250 between July and the end of the year, the reporting period for the nonprofit … that works out at $511 a week, or $12.75 per hour, around the same as a McDonald’s worker’s hourly wage in Philadelphia.”
