British royal family news shows that actress Justine Bateman is coming for her favorite disaster tourists again and we’re here for it.
Bateman, sister of Jason Bateman, famously called out Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for taking selfies at the site of the devastating California wildfires, now weighs in on the former’s train wreck Netflix show.
Here’s every delicious thing the former The Family Ties and Desperate Housewives star said about Diva Duchess!
Justine Bateman Isn’t Feeling Walmart Wallis
Meghan’s cookery show With Love, Meghan debuted earlier this month and was immediately panned, seared, and tossed in the Dumpster. Bateman thinks that the audience rejected the horse manure because they don’t want to “watch someone playact at something they didn’t earn.”
Earlier this year Justine called them ambulance chasers and disaster tourists for their classless wildfire PR stunt and now says “the public are tired of Harry and Meghan and their ‘Victims Olympics.’”
Justine Bateman Calls out the Markles
According to the Daily Mail she said “The problem with Meghan Markle (and her husband, Harry) is that every opportunity they have explored or exploited over the past few years has been due to their very aggressive Victim Olympics campaign.”
She added “The difference between doing that two years ago and doing it now is immense. It’s 2025, and no one wants to see victims anymore. No one wants to watch someone playact at something they didn’t earn.” She’s not wrong.

Lest you think Bateman is a bully, let it be said that she believes the Markles have every right to be industrious. This is America after all, land of the free, which Harry is about to learn firsthand when his US visa docs are unveiled in the coming hours.
Most importantly though, Bateman notes that “the public also have the right not to ‘go along with another’s “narrative” anymore.’” Exactly. In the US freedom of expression means just that, there are no rules for thee and rules for me.
Bateman’s criticism is the latest in a steady stream of invective aimed at the terrible twosome as it’s been reported that Netflix has no intention of renewing the Sussexes’ $100 million contract; one which should never have been offered in the first place seeing as how the two have no talent nor experience in filmmaking.
However, author Marina Hyde thinks that the streamer may dangle the couple along just in case “one day Meghan and Harry split up” suggesting that Meghan’s take on Harry would be a ratings winner.
