Just because she’s one of the most celebrated women in the entire world, that doesn’t mean that she enjoys each and every party that she’s invited to. Of course, we are talking about Kate Middleton as it seems like she hates doing this one thing.

And by that, we mean celebrate birthdays with grand gestures. While it’s part of the royal family’s style to always celebrate a milestone birthday, and especially for the King of England, the Princess of Wales just isn’t interested in that at all.

Kate Middleton recently celebrated her 44th birthday and the day was apparently as low key as it could be for a senior member of the royal family.

One source to the situation even put it this way, ““Birthdays are all milestones and perhaps mean more now that her children are growing up fast, but this doesn’t mean that Catherine feels the need to celebrate with grand gestures.”

“Years ago, when they were dating, William used to take her for romantic meals, but these days it’s different, and they prefer a simple supper at home with family.”

But apparently, there’s a reason why Kate MIddleton just wants to keep things quiet and with her family. After all, she had one of the hardest periods in her life with her cancer diagnosis back in 2024.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For The Princess of Wales?

The insider added, “Last year was survival then recovery mode, picking her moments and pacing herself.”

“This year, I expect Catherine to carry out more engagements but be selective. Her diary is already filling up, I am told. But she won’t go back to the old pace; she’s learnt that lesson. It will be meaningful, with gaps in between for her family.”

The tipster also added that for Kate Middleton, she is just focusing on her health and her family right now and of course, supporting her husband Prince William in his official duties. That’s why any and all celebrations can wait, or at least for now.

She would rather just have a small cake at home, blow out a few candles, and call it a day.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more.
