During Kate’s visit to Denmark in February to promote her Early Childhood Foundation, she made us privy to the knowledge that she and her kids love playing lego during the holidays. In fact, she said her kids weren’t particularly happy with her – they were “jealous”, as she puts it – for not taking them along to the Lego Foundation PlayLab.
Kate also famously created the Danish flag out of Lego blocks.
Legoland Windsor Unveils “Royal Removal Company” Honoring the Cambridges’ Move To Adelaide Cottage
The amazing display reportedly took Legoland model makers over 19 hours to complete. The new Lego display, named “Royal Removal Company”, was made to celebrate the Cambridge family’s move to Windsor. It is their first move in over a decade.
The 4,100 Lego display astonishingly shows moving men moving furniture outside a 39,000 brick replica of Windsor Castle. The piece is on display at the resort’s Miniland.

You can see versions of Kate Middleton, Prince William, their children, and their beloved family dog, a black cocker spaniel named Orla, as features in the display. There’s even a Lego version of the Queen’s guard, standing in he castle doorway with a black Lego bearskin hat and the classic red uniform.
Legoland Model Maker Shares His Hopes Of Seeing The Cambridges Visit The Resort To See Their Miniature Versions
Oh, who wouldn’t want to see themselves perfectly designed with Lego bricks? I know three royal children who would be excited to take Will Metcalfe, the Legoland model maker, up on his offer.
Metcalfe recently shared his hopes of having the Royal Family pay a visit to the resort to admire miniature versions of themselves. “If possible we’d like to get them to come down, the royals, to come and have a look for themselves and actually meet themselves in Lego,” he said. “I think that’d be quite fun for them!”

This week will be the first week that the couple will spend at their new home, which would definitely need some adjusting to, as they will be without staff for the first time.
Next week, the children will get ready to start the new term in a new school. It will especially be daunting for Louis as it will be his first school, after he graduated from nursery this summer.
