Kate Middleton Caught In Another PR Mess
Just this week the future queen of England attended a royal engagement with her husband, Prince William, by her side.
They met with school children and while the event went off without a hitch, there is one particular photo in which Kate Middleton is holding up an umbrella just for herself while the school children stand next to her drenched in the rain. We couldn’t make this up if we could.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the viral photo and let’s just say that a lot of it wasn’t good at all.
Some even commented with, “This is almost as bad as the infamous ‘shaking hands through a chain link fence’ PR disaster photo taken in Jamaica.”
“Actually, it’s worse. She could say she wanted to interact more but the fence was in the way. Here she could’ve easily ushered the children closest to her for an easy photo op.”

Kate’s Photo Op Goes Terribly Wrong
Another critic wrote, “I honestly wonder if Catherine Middleton might be slow. I can give her the benefit of the doubt that she is in a toxic environment and doesn’t receive mental health care. Some people call her cold, narcissistic, and lacking empathy.”
“Still, maybe she just struggles cognitively, she can’t seem to give speeches well or write properly. I don’t want to infantilize her, but I’m trying to find an explanation.”
And then there was this comment as well: “Possibly she’s depressed, traumatized, and an introvert. Also she’s never been brought up to fake being outgoing, as many of us introverts do. These things can contribute to seeming standoffish and distant, and even in your own world.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
