Kate Middleton Credits Nature As Her Healer in U.K. Mother’s Day Tribute

British royal family news divulges that this Mother’s Day in the UK Princess Catherine recognized Mother Nature as her inspiration. Kate Middleton recognized the weekend holiday with a video on Instagram on Sunday, March 30.

The post featured spectacular images of nature with the caption: “Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary. This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognize how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life. C.”

Kate is seen wearing a beige dress and she touches a tree as the sunlight floods all around her. At one point her husband Prince William is seen from behind with their dogs.

Despite the nature of the holiday, the couple’s three children— Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—are not included.

The latest holiday post comes after last year’s controversial Mother’s Day post which was banned by the media.

Kate Middleton Credits Nature in Mother’s Day Tribute

In 2024 Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince William, shared a Mother’s Day post showing her and their kids, with the proud papa said to be the photographer. The picture was lovely, and fans complimented the happy family of five.

But soon after AP killed (banned) the picture and other media outlets followed suit. The reason given was that the pic was altered and thus unacceptable. The firestorm prompted Kate to apologize for the photo the next day.

She posted an online message: “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.”

Kate Middleton’s Happy Mother’s Day 2025

Kate had abdominal surgery in January 2024 and she wasn’t scheduled to attend public events until after Easter. In spite of reassurances, the public and celebs in particular roasted Kate shading her as having something to hide.

Royal pundit Robert Hardman told People that the couple were hurt by the photo insinuations “It was treated like some great fraud.”

Soon after, Kate revealed she was diagnosed with cancer and was receiving preventative treatment. This January she announced that she is in remission which no doubt makes for a very special Mother’s Day gift this year, unlike the nastiness she was served in 2024.
