It seems like she feels the exact same way that her late mother-in-law Princess Diana once did. There’s a new report that suggests the Princess of Wales is trying to protect her three children from living a life that might be a little too royal for her taste. That and she wants to make sure that their mental health is protected at all times, too.

As many royal fans already know, Kate Middleton shares three children with her husband, Prince William: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

And while the Princess of Wales knows that there is some responsibility that comes with being members of the royal family, she does want her kids to just relax and let loose this summer, and especially now that she’s dealing with her cancer treatment as well.

Royal expert Christopher Anderson recently put it this way, “The summer is when Kate just wants the kids to be kids and get to be a little freer. And this summer, more than ever, is going to be all about the kids.”

“Kate and William have always made the most of their summers with the children.”

Plus, it also pains the Princess of Wales that she just can’t spend the same kind of quality time with her kids that she used to because of her health.

“[And] Kate has always been athletic; that was one of the reasons William was drawn to her in the first place.”

Royal Family News – What’s Next For The Princess of Wales?

So far Kate Middleton herself has made no comments about the matter but at this point it’s doubtful that she will.
