“Both women are actually quite shy so it’s taken time for them to get to this stage, but they have a very easy relationship now they’ve both made the effort,’ said royal commentator Katie Nicholl, according to the Daily Mail, “The Queen loves seeing Kate because it’s an opportunity to spend time with her and hear how her great grandchildren are doing.”

What’s more, it appears as though Kate knows just how important it is for the Queen to spend Christmas with her entire family and that’s why they will be there front and center along with the rest of the royals at Sandringham Estate later this month.

“I imagine that spending Christmas at Sandringham with her grandchildren and great grandchildren will be something she’s very much looking forward to,’ Katie Nicholl added. “So Kate and William are doing the dutiful thing and putting the royal family first.”

Royal News – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Christmas Plans

This comes after reports have indicated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have opted to spend the Christmas holiday with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. However, further reports have stated that instead of traveling to Los Angeles for the holidays, Doria will be at the couple’s home at Frogmore Cottage near Windsor Castle instead. So far the Sussexes have made no further comments about their Christmas plans or why they are not spending the holidays with the rest of the royal family.
