Even Kate Middleton knows that without Prince William and the royalty, even she can’t survive. She only became the household name that she is thanks to her marriage to the future king of England. 

But if Prince William were to replace her with another woman, it would be over for the Princess of Wales. After a few short months, no one would even utter her name or even remember her for that matter.

She can’t go on pretending to be a royal and especially if she’s not married to one. And there’s no way that she’ll ever achieve the same kind of status that Princess Diana had and even after she divorced Prince Charles because Meghan simply isn’t in the same league.
