It’s no wonder royal fans and experts alike have voiced their wish that her husband William leapfrog his father Prince Charles onto the throne. The Daily Star reports that Kate Middleton’s birthday celebrations will be “low-key” and cozy, celebrated with her family. She recently hosted a much-acclaimed television Christmas special in which she wowed fans with a piano recital. She has earned a lavish and pampered birthday, but one royal expert thinks that would be frowned upon for one very obvious reason: Princess Pinocchio.

Royal watcher Duncan Larcombe told OK! that Middleton does not want to be compared to Meghan Markle who has made a name for herself as the over-the-top Duchess of Excess. Before she defected from the royal family she took a private jet to NYC where her friends threw a reported one million dollar baby shower for her.

Those famous friends are nowhere in sight these days, perhaps due to the toxicity of her and Harry? This year Meghan celebrated her birthday sans any VIP friends in a sad homemade video she released to the world, which was slammed as a mockery of the queen. Poor Harry wasn’t let inside the house to join the charade, instead he was relegated to the backyard where the camera revealed he was juggling his balls.

Larcombe said, “It’s just not Kate’s style to want to throw a lavish party for friends and family. I can’t see her going on any VIP trips to posh West End restaurants either.”
