Sure, they say that imitation is the biggest form of flattery, but it looks like someone might have missed the mark, too.

However, it seems like someone here might have missed the mark as there’s a new report that says Kate Middleton, along with her husband Prince William and their three children, tried to recreate Meghan Markle’s summer Instagram carousel.

Just to recall, it was the Duchess of Sussex who first shared many behind-the-scenes photos of her family’s summer trip to Portugal. Some of the pics included Prince Harry and of course, the couple’s two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Well, someone behind the scenes at the palace might have seen how much attention Meghan’s Instagram account got and that’s why they decided that Prince William and Kate Middleton should do one of their own, too.

But here’s the thing: many critics noticed that the Prince and Princess of Wales’s photos look incredibly staged while Meghan’s pics give viewers a more authentic behind-the-scenes look at how their life really looks like. And for a lot of people, that makes a huge difference.

Then again, this isn’t the first time that Kate Middleton has supposedly taken a page out of Meghan Markle’s handbook.

It’s safe to say that the Princess of Wales is definitely paying attention to what her sister-in-law is doing, even though she refuses to talk to her.

Meghan Markle Still Doesn’t Want To Speak To Kate Middleton

Now, whether or not Meghan Markle actually feels flattered that Kate Middleton is taking pointers from her no one knows, but if there’s anything that we are certain of, it’s not going to make her want to talk to Kate again or anyone else from the royal family for that matter.

That’s because for the Duchess of Sussex, she’s been there, done that, and certainly doesn’t want to go back to anything that has to do with the royal family again.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space though, as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
