his wife’s during the ceremony, too. Even though they were sitting quite far apart from one another, the future King of England left his hand on top of Kate’s while she had her hand on his lap for quite some time.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge didn’t show this kind of affection during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding back in May. As a matter of fact, the two are rather distant and reserved with one another while they are in public. One of the reasons why is because it’s against royal protocol to show any affection in public, and especially not during their royal engagements. Well, it looks like something might have changed in the last several months because William and Kate have definitely gotten closer and they are not afraid to show just how close they are to the world, either. Clearly, there is plenty of romance and a good amount of spark in their marriage! In other words, the flame is definitely still there.
