There’s a new report that says Kate Middleton struggled to do the Windsor walkabout with Meghan Markle right after Queen Elizabeth’s death back in September. Even though many royal fans appreciated the effort that the Cambridges and the Sussexes made together at the time, Robert Jobson says in his new book, ‘Our King,’ that Kate wanted to walk right out of there. And while it might have looked like the Cambridges and the Sussexes were trying to put on a united front for the sake of the royal family, it was nothing more than an illusion.

Sources at the time said that while it might have been Prince William’s idea for everyone to do the walkabout together, it was the last thing his wife wanted to do. And just to think, this was way before Harry and Meghan’s Netflix docuseries and Harry’s tell-all book, Spare.

Jobson put it this way, “Catherine later admitted to a senior royal that, such was the ill feeling between the two couples, the joint walkabout was one of the hardest things she’d ever had to do.”

What’s Next For Kate Middleton?

Of course, the Prince and Princess of Wales have not made any comments about the matter but at the same time they also haven’t been seen with Harry and Meghan since the Windsor walkabout.

William and Kate have been avoiding the Sussexes at all costs. In fact, when Prince Harry was in London just last week for his court case against the Daily Mail, Prince William drove off to Norfolk to be with his family. Similarly, reports also said that King Charles refused to make any time for his youngest son, too.

Now, whether or not William and Kate will see Harry and Meghan during King Charles’ upcoming Coronation remains to be seen. Watch this space as we have a feeling that Kate Middleton will be keeping her distance from the Sussexes or anyone that has anything to do with them.
