British royal family divulges that Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales and former First Lady Melania Trump are in similar positions, being beautiful moms married to powerful world leaders. One doesn’t quite associate motherly, down-to-earth Kate with supermodel businesswoman Melania but here are the times in which they’ve twinned brilliantly!

Melania And Catherine Represent The People

Melania and Catherine both married into powerful and connected political families. As such they are figureheads, and one half of a powerful global couple.

One key difference being that while Kate supports many patronages, she does not endorse a political party. Conversely, Melania’s role as the partner of the former POTUS means she is expected to reinforce his political role.

These two lovely ladies are also admired for their stunning fashion sense. They set the style and fashion tone each time they perform an official function and oftentimes their clothes sell out immediately.

YouGov polls reveal that Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William have been voted the most popular members of the British royal family in the past.

But Gallup’s Most Admired Man and Woman poll, which ran from 1946 to 2020, compared influential men and women from different countries, showing that Melania was more popular than Middleton.

In a March 2024 episode, late night host Jimmy Kimmel said that Kate being “missing” after a planned abdominal surgery was similar to Melania Trump keeping a low profile after her husband’s 2020 election loss.

An adjacent theory posits that both Melania and Kate have used body doubles. In particular, Bravo host Andy Cohen rubbished Kate’s appearance in a video at a farm shop, saying it could be a body double.

Royal Family News – Melania And Kate Enjoy The Same Designer

Both Kate and Melania love Erdem, the London brand by Erdem Moralioglu MBE. In 2018 Melania wore a stunning white sundress with a parrot pattern from Erdem and in 2023 Kate was dressed in Erdem for the Commonwealth Day service. Similarly, both polished ladies enjoy wearing coat dress when its cold outside.

In 2017 E! News showed Melania and Catherine wearing a very similar and striking dark blue, belted coat dress with matching blue heels. The look is so popular that Ivanka Trump has also been photgraphed in a similar style.
