As many royal fans are aware of, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry did have a rather close bond back in the day.
However, all of that changed the moment that Meghan Markle came into the picture and married Prince Harry.
Kate Middleton began to distance herself from Harry and that’s mostly because Meghan refused to give her any room in their relationship. Not only that, but Kate also didn’t get along very well with the former Hollywood actress, too.
And now one source close to the situation says that Kate wants to fix things with Prince Harry, even if her husband Prince William might not be on board with the idea.

One source close to the situation put it this way, “She told William in no uncertain terms that this is not the time for resentment, they needed to show the world that love and family are front and center of their values, but more importantly, she wanted Harry to have this message on his big day.”
“Kate was very much the driving force behind Harry’s birthday wishes, as she slowly makes good on her vow to restore some kind of peace and forgiveness between the estranged royal and his family before it’s too late.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
