Royal Family News: Mike Tindall Reveals Back Story Of Prince Louis’ Viral Photo From Platinum Jubilee

British royal family news reveals that Zara Tindall’s husband, former pro rugby star Mike Tindall, recently dished on rascal Prince Louis who captured the nation’s attention with his antics during the Platinum Jubilee.

Prince Louis is four years old and acted like it, becoming at turns bored, frustrated and bratty during a three hour sit down event. That was a long time for a child to behave like a prince! at one point Mike, who was sitting in back of the little royal, gave him an, “I’m watching you,” gesture and it went viral. Mike pointed to his eyes and then back at Louis who was seated next to his mother Kate Middleton.

Mike does The Good, The Bad and the Rugby podcast with former teammates and he talked about the moment that went viral. At one point he and his cohost James Haskell joked about keeping, “the future king’s children in line,” according to Geo TV.

Cohost Alex Payne said of Mike, “Tins wears a hat, he goes up 100,000,” then asked, “What were you actually doing at that point, with the old [pointing at eyes gesture]?” Mike replied, “I actually can’t remember, I can’t remember what he was doing. He’s such a good character he is, Louis.”

Haskell added, “The ones who have no chance of being in the mix are always the best characters.” Are you listening Prince Harry?

Prince Louis Is A Good Boy

The conversation took place on the June 5 episode of the podcast. Louis was seated in the very front of the pageant, thus all eyes were on him “It’s tough for them. They’re all young. It’s a long time,” the 43-year-old athlete said of that moment. “But as any parents know, you just do whatever needs to be done.”

At one point Kate turned to him and he stuck his thumb on his nose and wiggled his fingers at her while sticking out his tongue. Another time she tried put her finger to her mouth to shush him and he pulled her hand away. Some royal fans were not amused.

But as Mike noted, “Louis, he was just wanting to have fun. And my two [daughters, Mia and Lena] are always mischievous, so it’s trying to keep a lid on. There were a lot of sweets out back though, so there was a real sugar high.” That explains everything!
