I believe that the Kate is worried about the king and her own health and maybe even the disruption to the other patients. However her own health is going to be foremost in her thoughts, if only because of her children. No mother wants to think about what could happen to her children if something happened to her. Now of course William would finish raising the kids if something were to happen, and of course there’s always the rest of the family and staff to help with that, had something happened. But a mother is a mother is a mother, they’re going to worry about their health the health of their children, the health of their spouse, the health of their grandfather and anybody else in the family. So the patience are a passing thought, and if anybody has a problem with me saying that, it’s their problem because that is how a mother is, they think about everybody else before they think of themselves. But when it’s peripheral, the concern level drops exponentially, that’s why I say the other patients are a secondary thought. She is in a private room and a private wing, so she’s not disrupting the hospital all that much. I don’t know why people want to make the situation so much more than it I’m sure really is. But I guess that’s what people want to do, it makes her look good it makes anybody else look bad, especially if they’re saying something horrible and somebody else isn’t saying something positive about her and her situation, i.e. M&H. They can’t control what others say or think, so they can only control what they say or think. Nobody needs to presume, assume or anything else about what M&H are or are not saying or doing. This of course is just my opinion.

I understand what you’re saying about the Princess being a mother, and all of us mothers understand you’re point. But the Princess is not saying or doing anything to create sympathy or “make her look good”, and make everyone else look bad. We’re getting the health info second-hand from the Palace and other media. Everyone is concerned because that is a long time in the hospital. We respect her privacy and wish her a speedy recovery, and hope she will be home with her children and William as soon as possible. If you don’t like her that’s fine, but don’t get upset with other people wanting to know what happened. She is loved by many people and they just want to know everything is going to be ok. They feel she is like one of their family, and there’s nothing wrong with that. There are so few people today that we can identify with. She’s a keeper.

In the USA I can’t think of anything that would keep anyone in the hospital for 10 to 14 days. I am having a hip replacement & will go home the same or next day. Open heart surgery patients would never be in hospital that long. Something isn’t adding up.
