British royal family news reveals that Catherine, Princess of Wales continues to pace herself and her schedule after a grueling preventative cancer treatment phase this year.

Normally the mother of three has logged dozens of official meetings by autumn, but this year is different. Kate had a planned abdominal surgery in January, and at that time cancer was found. She stunned the world with an announcement in March, detailing her long road to recovery.

This summer she completed treatment and let the world know via a heartwarming video in which her husband, her kids (Princes Louis and George and Princess Catherine), and parents (Carole and Michael Middleton) were featured.

That’s next for Kate? She will understandably continue to focus on her recovery and it’s not known if she will hold her annual Christmas concert, which has quickly become a favorite royal tradition.

It’s refreshing to hear that the Princess of Wales is able to let her hair down and relax at home with her husband. The time will come when they are both exponentially busier as reigning king and queen.
