The Princess of Wales has admitted that she loves swimming in the cold and when it’s dark. It’s her new hobby, apparently.

While her husband Prince William seemed to have given her a side eye when she recently admitted to it, Kate seems to be very happy with it. It’s her way of releasing stress.

While Queen Elizabeth was on a competitive swim team during her childhood years, Kate was never really a swimmer before.

But in the last several months, she’s been making a whole lot of changes in her life. And swimming is one of them.

Even though Kate has always been very athletic, she didn’t spend as much time in the pool as someone like her sister Pippa Middleton, who is a known triathlete.

Then again, there have been several reports indicating that she’s dealing with a lot of stress in her marriage to Prince William. Some reports have even suggested that they are on the brink of a divorce. And of course, there’s also the fact that Kate is raising three children who are going to be future royals, too.

Her life is certainly not easy, seeing how she’s always in the spotlight. It’s no wonder Kate Middleton loves to swim, and in the dark, no less. It’s her way of getting away from her everyday life.
