Kate Middleton’s uncle Gary Goldsmith has come to her defense over allegations made that she might have had concerns about the color of Meghan Markle’s unborn child.

Meghan Markle first said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey that there were major concerns about her baby’s skin color when she was still living at Kensington Palace.
Even though she hasn’t mentioned the issue again after her interview with Oprah, Omid Scobie’s new book dedicated a full chapter to it.
Speaking to the Daily Mail in a new interview, Gary Goldsmith, who has had his fair share of controversial headlines in the past, put it this way, “The whole book is just a tapestry of gibber and falsehoods sewn together with his personal opinion.

Scobie milking his relationship with the Sussexes for every cent it’s worth and stirring up a pot which has been stirred enough. Let’s face it, this one-sided snidey account will make it even harder for any of the Royal Family to reach out to Harry and Meghan now or in the short-term future.”

If that weren’t enough, Goldsmith also said, “From the first page to the last, all Scobie does is re-tell well-worn stories, but with a particularly vicious slant, using terms such as ‘pliable’, ‘tightly controlled’ and ‘carefully assembled’ to scoff at Kate. He even pursues the laughable theory that Carole orchestrated Kate’s relationship with William, pushing her daughter to choose St Andrews University in a bid to meet William when, in fact, she would rather have gone to Edinburgh.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful anything will be said. Watch this space.
