Kate Middleton’s Uncle Gary Goldsmith Kicked Off British TV Show

Gary Goldsmith has already checked out of the Celebrity Big Brother UK house.  After a VERY brief stay on CBB, Kate Middleton’s Uncle was the first player to be evicted this season. 

Imagine literally being the Future Queen of England’s Uncle, and not even making it past round one of evictions.  Even Royal Family clout didn’t help Gary Goldsmith!

Kate Middleton just came out of hiding (sorta) after her mysterious abdominal surgery in January, did she catch the new season of Celebrity Big Brother UK while she was recovering? 

If Prince William’s wife did tune in, she would have caught her uncle Gary Goldsmith talking about her A LOT.  He took Royal name-dropping to a whole new level, even in his exit interview.

Gary Goldsmith Talks Being A Bad Uncle

In an interview with The Mirror, Carole Middleton’s brother Gary Goldsmith admitted that a lot of people were calling him a “bad uncle” for discussing his niece at all on Celebrity Big Brother, especially in the midst of her health crisis.

Goldsmith explained, “To be fair, people were asking me about it but they didn’t know what else I was. Why are you here if not for that? People were asking me a lot of questions because they didn’t know what to ask.”

Kate Middleton’s Uncle Evicted

So, Kate Middleton’s uncle’s reasoning for talking about the Royals is because nobody knows him for anything else.  In his defense, that’s a pretty valid argument.  But, there’s definitely a time and place to chase Royal clout. 

While your niece is in hiding and recovering from a mysterious illness and Royal extremists are convinced it’s a cover-up,  you should probably refrain from appearing on reality TV.
