British royal family news reveals that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, may be about to become even closer to their friends David Foster and American Idol alum Katharine McPhee. That’s because the music power couple is said to be on the lookout for a Montecito, California home nearby the Markle’s.

According to DailyMail.com, music producer Foster and his pregnant wife McPhee are looking at homes in the pricey neighborhood and are seriously considering a permanent move. Maybe they should think twice and review Markle’s track record of discarding the ones closest to them?

A source close to Foster and McPhee told DailyMail.com that the pair want their child to grow up alongside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie. “David and Katharine have become really close to Harry and Meghan,” said the insider. “And now Katharine is pregnant they both want to settle down and raise their child in a nice area with nice schools.”

The chatty source went on to say, “They’ve spent quite a bit of time in Montecito since Harry and Meghan moved there and they’ve fallen in love with it so they decided to start looking at properties to see what’s on the market.”

The Two Power Couples Have Grown Close Since Harry And Meghan Moved To California From The UK

The couples were seen recently enjoying a dinner date in Montecito. That trip was the first time Harry and Meghan were seen in the city limits since DailyMail.com revealed that they had settled in the chic town.

The couple bought the infamous mansion known as ‘The Chateau’ for $14 million in June. It comes with a spare guest house and a stripper pole in the main house. It is said to be a 14,000 square-foot home on 5 acres of land and has locked front gates to keep out the riff-raff.

According to the source, “If they do make the move their child can play with Archie and become good friends. Harry and Meghan are excited about having them live nearby and they all want their kids to grow up together.”
After Harry and Meghan migrated to America from Britain, the couples hooked up and became besties. The two women went to high school together in Los Angeles and McPhee gushed that her husband, a 16-time Grammy-winning composer, and music producer, was a “surrogate father,” to Hollywood Harry. His biological father, Prince Charles, has not publicly commented on that statement.
