King Charles and Prince William Will Respond To Prince Harry And Meghan’s Claims In A Dignified Way

Wow, imagine dropping bombshell after bombshell of claims and “truths” and all, and then receive, in return, dignified silence. Sucks to be Harry and Meghan Markle these days, doesn’t it?

In light of the Sussexes’ explosive claims in vol. 2 of their docuseries, the Royal Family has responded with a silence so loud they probably heard it all the way in Montecito. And what’s best? They did it with a united front.

Several members of the Royal Family came out to support Princess Catherine’s Christmas carol service. Talk about “don’t mess with my family.”

Director of PR Explains How Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace Will Respond To Netflix’s “Harry and Meghan”

Okay, let’s say Harry and Meghan have a ball. In fact, let’s say they have a lot of balls. They love passing these balls to the Royal Family, albeit cloaked under “they” most of the times, but the Royal Family continues on with business as usual. How many more balls do you think Harry and Meghan have before they run out of balls?

According to Sophie Attwood, director of global PR consultancy at Sophie Attwood Communications, “Whilst there’s no doubt that the Royal Family would have been braced for the bombshells, their extensive PR teams will have been working behind the scenes for months in order to assess and manage the ‘crisis’ of this docuseries and the claims made within it in the best way possible.”

“Just as all high-profile personalities rely on popularity in order to survive, so do the Royal Family. And so their PR team will not only have planned for every possible bombshell but also have worked out strategies with which to react to them in order to continue to retain public sympathy and more importantly, popularity. It’s thanks to the extensive PR teams, that they have the strategies to not only manage a crisis like this but also to come out of it stronger than ever.”

PR Expert Says Prince William and Catherine’s PR Team Times Content To Mitigate Harry and Meghan’s Claims Being Too Explosive

Even though Buckingham and Kensington Palaces are yet to respond, directly or indirectly, there’s been subtle shifts in PR push as to say they’re timing their content to steal some steam away from the  Sussexes docuseries.

“Whilst it’s unlikely that any of us will ever really learn what goes on behind closed doors, the Netflix docuseries as well as the way in which The Palace has reacted has proved incredibly insightful of something else. And that is the PR teams behind both ‘sides,'” Sophie commented.

Continuing on, she added: “Regardless of what side of the Royal Family divide your sympathies may fall on, the recent manoeuvres have highlighted not only the immense power of PR, but also the way in which, when used at the right time, it can evoke conversations that go on to sit within our national history,” Sophie continued.

She then went on to say that if the Royal Family does “react” to it, their PR team will ensure they do so with “dignity”
