It looks like this upcoming tour is going to turn into more of a royal flop. There’s a new report that suggests King Charles and Queen Camilla could face some major protests during their historic royal tour next year.
The King and Queen of England are expected to travel to Canada during the spring of 2024, which will be his first trip there since his Coronation. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Is Canada ready for King Charles? Well, it depends on who you ask. Apparently, royal insiders have raised some concerns about King Charles possibly having to deal with a less than desirable reception in other parts of the world because of his low popularity.
One report says that over 80 percent of Canadians feel as though they are not attached to the British monarchy, while only 14 percent do. Another 63 percent say that they want to rethink their ties with Britain and King Charles III.
It seems like this might be a make or break moment for the King of England and his wife. One source close to the situation says that the upcoming Canadian tour will “reflect the feeling in the country” as there are “very reflect the feeling in the country.”

Regardless of what happens though, the show must go on for the King of England. Another palace source put it this way, “The King has always been very open that he will continue in his role as head of state across the British realms for as long as he is wanted.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that they will.
Whether or not Canada will turn their backs on King Charles and Queen Camilla remains to be seen. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is more juicy royal drama to come.
