King Charles is concerned over Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice’s wild spending habits. One of the reasons why he doesn’t want to promote them into full-time working royals is because he thinks that they spend way too much on their lavish lifestyles. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
Royal Family News – King Charles Concerned Over Eugenie And Beatrice’s Wild Habits
For years Prince Andrew has been begging his older brother to reconsider his stance on not allowing more full-time working members of the royal family.
Yet, the Duke of York would like Eugenie and Beatrice to be added to that list just because he wants that added security for his daughters.
But King Charles hasn’t budged one bit. And now it’s been suggested that he might not even be able to afford the York sisters, seeing how they both have rather expensive tastes when it comes to their lifestyles.
Not only that, but King Charles has also maintained that he only wants a limited number of senior royals to stay on the payroll. That, unfortunately, does not include Andrew’s two daughters.
One source close to the situation put it this way, “Both daughters of Andrew are more like their mother, Sarah Ferguson and the way that she was a public figure as a member of the working Royal Family, rather than Princess Anne for example. They take lots of holidays and it’s never certain who exactly is paying for those holidays. They don’t come across as hard-working dutiful princesses.”
Princess Eugenie And Princess Beatrice Have Lavish Lifestyles
The insider added, “They haven’t presented themselves, both Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice as particularly dutiful figures. They’ve been classically accused of behaving, as royal-hangers-on have traditionally behaved, as enjoying the wealth, privilege and power of monarchy without doing the hard work. So they’re more like their mother was in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Sarah Ferguson, than their aunt Anne.”
So far Kensington Palace has not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space for more royal drama.
