Royal Family News: King Charles’s Death Announcement Sparks Outrage
Per the latest reports, a UK radio station was forced to apologize after they erroneously announced the death of the King of England.
Just to confirm, the king of England is not dead and he was actually in Northern Ireland at the time for one of his royal engagements.
Station manager Peter Moore was forced to correct the matter on Facebook and wrote, “Due to a computer error at our main studio, the Death of a Monarch procedure, which all UK stations hold in readiness while hoping not to require, was accidentally activated on Tuesday afternoon (19 May), mistakenly announcing that HM the King had passed away.”
He continued, “Radio Caroline then fell silent as would be required, which alerted us to restore programming and issue an on-air apology. Caroline has been pleased to broadcast Her Majesty the Queen’s, and now the king’s, Christmas message and we hope to do so for many years to come.”
“We apologise to HM the king and to our listeners for any distress caused.”

Clearly, many royalists did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “I know fake death announcements happen on social media all the time, but to have a radio station announce your death is strange it seems more strategic.. I don’t buy it was a mistake on an easily verified death they should have double checked imo.”
Royal Family News: King Charles Confirmed To Still Be Alive
Another critic wrote, “I don’t want to be ghoulish, and I wish Charles well, I liked his address to the Congress very much, but I think it might be easier than one imagines to keep news closely held about his health.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
